Every Advanced Car Hire 4x4 camping rental includes a rooftop tent with mattress, a full kitchen set, a fridge, a single-plate gas cooker with gas bottle, camping chairs and a table, and recovery gear such as a compressor, spade and axe. It is all packed, checked and included in the daily rate.
In brief
Pax 2 vehicles are set up for two travellers with one rooftop tent. Pax 4 vehicles sleep four and come with two rooftop tents, with kitchen items scaled to four. Optional extras like a satellite phone, ground tent, extra jerry can and baby seat can be added when you book or, subject to availability, when you collect the vehicle; pre-booking guarantees availability. Camp cooking
The kitchen box in every camping configuration carries a full cooking kit: pots and a pan, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses, plus a fridge that keeps fresh ingredients properly cold. Dinner at camp can be pasta with real parmesan and a glass of wine, cooked under the awning, not just tins on a fire. Everything is counted, cleaned and checked before you leave the yard.

Every camping rental includes a rooftop tent with mattress, a full kitchen set with crockery, cutlery, pots and utensils, a fridge, a single-plate gas cooker with gas bottle, a kettle, camping chairs and a table, an LED light, and recovery gear including a compressor, spade, axe and BBQ grid. Everything is packed and checked before collection and included in the daily rate.
The Pax 2 setup is built for two travellers and comes with one rooftop tent. The Pax 4 setup sleeps four and comes with two rooftop tents. Kitchen items such as plates, bowls, mugs, glasses and cutlery are supplied in the matching quantity, two sets for Pax 2 and four for Pax 4. Shared items like the table, fridge, cooker and recovery gear stay the same across both.
Bedding is not included as standard. A bedding set per person, with a pillow, sleeping bag and mattress, is available as an optional extra, charged per person per day. Add it when you book and we will pack it with your camping kit.
Yes. A fridge is included in every Advanced Car Hire camping setup. If you need extra cold storage, an Engel 40L fridge or freezer can be added as an optional extra.
