Larger groups: Toyota Quantum, seating up to 10 passengers — a 2x4 people-mover that has been lifted and modified to handle Namibia's gravel and dirt roads, usually rented with a professional ACH driver but available for self-drive on request, from N$4,850/day. All vehicles are prepared and inspected for Namibia's gravel-road and remote-terrain conditions.

Every rental includes, at no extra cost: unlimited kilometres, complimentary airport transfers (when collecting and returning at our Windhoek office), live GPS safety tracking, 24/7 roadside support, and a tyre and glass waiver. Optional extras such as camping equipment, GPS units, satellite phones, and additional drivers are priced separately (see Camping Equipment & Extras).

## One-Way Rentals

We offer flexible one-way rentals across Namibia and Southern Africa. You can:

- Collect in Windhoek and drop off at one of the locations below,
- Collect at one of these locations and drop off in Windhoek, or
- Collect at one of these locations and drop off at a different location on the list.

How the fee works: collection or drop-off in Windhoek is always free. For any other location, the stated fee applies. If both your collection and drop-off points are non-Windhoek locations, the two fees are added together. For example, collecting in Swakopmund (N$5,000) and dropping off in Cape Town (N$13,500) totals N$18,500; collecting in Windhoek (free) and dropping off in Swakopmund is N$5,000.

## Good to Know

- **Driving side:** In Namibia and across Southern Africa, driving is on the left-hand side of the road.
- **Minimum rental period:** Usually 6 days. In low season (generally December through June, though April and May can be busy), we can often make exceptions for shorter rentals — just ask.
- **Longer rentals:** We don't run standard long-term discounts, but for rentals longer than one month in low season, or longer than two months in high season, we're happy to consider a tailored arrangement — please ask us.
- **Road conditions:** Around 90% of Namibia's roads are gravel. A 4x4 is strongly recommended; gravel-road underbody damage to smaller vehicles is not covered by any Namibian rental company.
- **Connectivity:** Namibia has roughly 90% cell coverage on common tourist routes. A local MTC SIM card is recommended; a satellite phone is only needed for the most remote areas.
